Full Of It

The birthday card from my in-laws read “Your face and body still look twenty-five. But there’s something in your eyes that says ‘thirty.’  TEARS, I think they’re called.”

That said, I’d briefly considered swapping out “adult angst” for “despair” but changed my mind against it because it’d be inaccurate. I have a loving husband, a beautiful house, and the goofiest, cutest corgi puppy that ever was. Unfortunately, I also have, for no good reason, an unrelenting sense of foreboding.  Maybe I should stop reading news feeds.  🙁

How Does It Feel

After casually bringing up the subject of starting this webcomic to some friends, I was immediately bombarded by a dozen questions.  Is it new, or is it a restart of your old comic? What’s it called? What’s the format? What’s it about? Do you have a storyline, or is it just anecdotes? Do you have a website for it? Have you thought about merchandising? And on and on and on.  I didn’t (and don’t) really have much of an answer except, well, obviously, yes, I have a website.

I’m winging it. I’m not sure I’ve committed to the name, even, or this style/format.  I figure the former will probably just stick while the latter will probably be little dependent on my update schedule, which isn’t really decided, either…. Though, I am thinking Saturdays or weekends with the occasional additional update during the week is probably the most realistic. But I also want to see how far I can push myself. I’m not getting any younger.
